When we gather, we come to confess our need for God’s grace, to fix our eyes on the sufficient work of Christ, to be reminded of the hopeful assurance we have in the gospel, to declare through song what the Lord has done, to receive the transformative teaching of God’s Word, to serve one another, to be strengthened by gifts like baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and ultimately to be sent out equipped as ambassadors of King Jesus to those around us.
